A cancer diagnosis between the ages of 15 and 39 is eight times more common than a diagnosis during the first 15 years of life.
Despite advances in management of cancer, there’s been no improvement within the last 30 years in survival rates for this particular age group — and in fact, the gap between the survival rates of young adults and those of cancer patients in other age groups is widening. ULMAN helps close the gap in cancer care by providing free programs and resources for young adults impacted by cancer.

I personally have not been affected by cancer, but I know someone that has, and the turmoil they go through is not something I would wish on anyone. Further more, I was born on 4th of February, which is world cancer day – Ayeeeee!!!! As a way to celebrate my 28th birthday, I thought I could join a bunch of other people (18-28 year olds!) to raise money that supports a PRESSING HUMANITARIAN ISSUE. Saw the 28 year cut-off age? Yep, that’s why this felt like I am on the right track to I embark on this life-changing experience.
Part of this experience is I get to do a cross-country ride in summer 2023 and also get a free bike!!!
Every dollar I raise will advance Ulman Foundation’s mission and donations are 100% tax deductible. Please join me in supporting Ulman’s mission by making a donation to my fundraiser.
